1 pound green beans, fresh
1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped
1/4 cup scallions, chopped
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 tblsp. butter
3 tblsp. heavy cream or full fat coconut milk
1/2 tsp. Bioforce Herbamare
3 slices nitrate-free bacon or turkey bacon
Trim the ends of the green beans and snap into one inch pieces. Steam or simmer until just tender. Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels and set aside. In a large skillet, melt butter and saute scallions briefly. Add in garlic and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms give off juices. Add cream and Herbamare and simmer until sauce thickens a little. Add the green beans and toss until the sauce coats the beans evenly. Crumble bacon and add to the beans.
